Perth shopping

There are plenty of places to find good shopping in Perth. In the city area there are two pedestrian malls, Murray Street and Hay Street, which run parallel to each other. There are hundreds of stores, along with several arcades, shopping centres, department stores, supermarket and plenty of places to eat located at these two malls and the several streets that adjoin the malls.

Just a few hundred metres on the other side of the main railway station is the suburb of Northbridge. Here you will also find a good selection of shops, places to eat, bars and many of Perth's nightclubs.

There are also numerous other major shopping centres and main street shopping areas located throughout the outer suburbs of Perth.

Most shops are open seven days a week in the city but are closed elsewhere on Sunday. There is also late night shopping in the suburbs on Thursday nights until 9pm and in the city on Friday nights until 9pm.
