These two surfing spots are in a very remote location and are only for the serious experienced surf adventurer.

Gnaraloo

  • Located on a huge coastal sheep station, there at least six good surf spots here for the most experienced surfer only, as the breaks are tough, demanding and they are known to have there fair share of hungry sharks around. Most breaks are long left reef breaks and tend to work best in south to south-westerly swells and south-easterly winds.

Red Bluff

  • Located about 135km north of Carnarvon there are some excellent waves to be had. The Bluff has one of the best left-hander point breaks around, which breaks over a very shallow sharp reef. It holds up to about 3 metre south-westerly swells, best around 1.5 to 2.5 metres in south-easterly to north-easterly winds. This is for very experienced surfers only and helmets are recommended. Watch out for sharks too!
