Middleton Beach

This is the main swimming beach of Albany as it is only a short distance from the city centre.

Frenchman Bay Beach

Located a short scenic drive from Albany, this is another nice swimming beach. It is also close to some of the popular tourist attractions such as Natural Rock Bridge, The Gap and Whale World.

Emu Point Beach

Offers protected sea swimming baths and various facilities.

Nanarup Beach

Located 30km east of Albany. This beach is popular for salmon fishing, there is also safe swimming available in the rock pool just 400m right from the carpark.

Gull Rock Beach

Located 26km east of Albany. This beach is good for spotting birdlife, particularly Gulls.
