River Heritage & Wetlands Trail

The trail is a short walk from the Port of Sale along the historic Sale Canal to the Sale Common Wetlands where you can continue on to the historic "Swing Bridge". The trail is marked with interpretive panels at heritage locations describing the flora, fauna and maritime history of the Sale Port area and nearby Sale Wetlands.

Access the trail at the Port of Sale. Trail length approximately 2km to McArdles gap, 7km to Lake Guthridge/Guyatt and 13km to the Swing Bridge.
