Lorne Beach

This is a very popular beach in the summer months during holiday seasons and weekends. The sandy beach extends for over a kilometre and is generally protected at most times, making it a great place to swim. The safest area is in the southern end where lifesavers patrol the beach in peak times.

Lorne Beach can also produce some nice smaller waves ideal for beginner surfers, and at the point in the right conditions, you can find some good bigger waves for more experienced surfers.
