Bellarine Peninsula surfing locations

Point Lonsdale

  • Next to the lighthouse is a left and right beach break, best up to 2 metre south-westerly swells. A little further west, opposite the surf club, you can find a great hollow reef break, when the swell is over 1.5 - 2 metres and south-westerly.

Raffs Beach

  • You can sometimes get a wave here in south-westerly swells, depending on the sandbanks.

The Bluff, 13th Beach

  • You can get a consistent left and right reef break here, best in 1.5 - 2 metre south-westerly swells.

The Beacon, 13th Beach

  • This is usually the best wave around here when the sandbanks are working well. It can produce some steep classic A-frame peaks opposite the shipping beacon. Best in low tide south-westerly swells and north-easterly winds.
