Beaches nearby St Helens

There are some beautiful scenic beaches at Binalong Bay (11km north of St Helens, accessed from Binalong Bay Road), Jeanneret Beach and Sloop Rock (about 15km north of St Helens). Also about 7km east at St Helens Point near the small village of Steiglitz, there are some great beaches and the impressive Peron Sand Dunes.

The Bay of Fire beach (23km north of St Helens) was also voted one of the two most beautiful beaches in the world, by prestigious UK travel magazine 'Conde Nast Traveller' in 2005.
