Beaches

There are many beautiful beaches to explore around Coles Bay and the Freycinet Peninsula. You will find some of the most crystal clear waters and whitest sand beaches that you will ever come across. This setting makes this area a great place to chill out and sunbake. It is also good for all kinds of water sports from fishing, swimming, diving, waterskiing, sailing, kayaking and dolphin spotting.

Wineglass Bay

While in this area, check out one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia, Wineglass Bay. You can get some amazing postcard views from the lookout over the bay. The beach itself is only accessible by boat of foot (park you car in the Wineglass Bay National Park parking area then take the walking track over the saddle - approximately 1.5 hours). The waters can sometimes produce some powerful swells, head to the ends of the beach for more protected swimming areas.
