Walking trails

Clare Valley has a variety of walking trails. Some of the more popular include;

  • The Two Wells Samphire Discovery Trail at Middle Beach. It's a key area for shorebirds.

  • Riverton Trails are good for walking and cycling with around 34 kilometres of trails that take you through the picturesque Gilbert Valley.

  • The Redbanks Conservation Park Walking Trail is characterised by rugged earth gorges and mallee scrub, blackbush and bluebush.

  • Spring Gully Conservation Park has three different walks for different fitness levels. Along the way it can sometimes be a good place to witness some of the local wildlife.
