Cylinder Beach

  • This is the islands most popular surfing spot. It produces a long, barrelling right that works best when the swell up to 2.5 metres from the south-east. Beware of sharks as they are commonly found here.

Main Beach

  • This is a long beach that stretches for many kilometres. You can find some good beach breaks here if you are willing to explore the length of the beach (need a 4WD). Generally best in offshore, west to north-westerly winds and south to south-easterly swells.
