Port Macquarie beaches

Town Beach

  • Is at the northern end of town, just before the river mouth. The southern end of the beach is good for swimming, the northern end of the beach can have some good waves for surfing.

Oxley's Beach

  • This is a pleasant spot for a picnic.

Rocky Beach

  • This is quite rocky and not very swimmer friendly.

Flynn's Beach

  • This is one of the most popular beaches with good surf conditions and a surf club that regularly patrols the beach.

Nobby's Beach

  • Offers some spectacular views of the coastline from the southern end.

Shelley Beach

  • Offers protected swimming and is home to Harry's lookout.
