'Mystics' Minnamurra Beach

  • Is a very popular surfing spot located just off the Minnamurra River estuary.

Jones's Beach

  • Is another popular surfing beach.

Bombo Beach

  • Is also a popular surfing beach for experienced surfers. It is generally not safe for swimmers as there can be strong undercurrents.

Surf Beach

  • Is Kiama's main surfing beach. Patrolled by lifesavers in summer on weekends from the long weekend in October through to Easter.

Kendalls Beach

  • Is approximately 1km to the south of the town centre. It is set in a protected bay between Kendalls Point to the north and Kaleula Head to the south-east and is a popular swimming spot.           

Easts Beach

  • Is a quiet, unpatrolled beach, generally protected from heavy seas by the two headlands.

Werri Beach

  • Is a great surfing beach with some of best waves on the South Coast.

Seven Mile Beach

  • This beach stretches for 7 miles from Gerroa in the north through to Shoalhaven Heads in the South. The northern end of the beach is patrolled in summer on weekends from the long weekend in October through to Easter.
