Forster- Tuncurry beaches

Nine Mile Beach, Tuncurry

  • Located along Beach Street, this beach is known for its good surfing in the right conditions. There is also an enclosed swimming area at the southern end called the Tuncurry Rockpool.

Forster Beach

  • Located on North Street. It is a protected beach, making it ideal for swimming.

One Mile Beach

  • Best accessed at the southern end off Underwood Road, this beach can be good for surfing and swimming (be aware of rips).

Burgess Beach Forster

  • Accessed by a steep path off Burgess Road, this beach is a good spot to do some body surfing when the conditions are right.

McBrides Beach, Forster

  • Accessed by a rough 4WD only road, this is a nice beach to escape for a day and enjoy the lovely surrounds.

Seven Mile Beach, Forster

  • Seven Mile Beach stretches south from Cape Hawke down to Booti Hill and The Ruins.
