Whale & Dolphin Watching

Humpback whales make their annual migration along the East Coast of Australia between May and November and the Coffs Coast is a good location to see them. There are good land viewing spots from a headland or lookouts. Alternatively, you can take a whale-watching cruise for a closer look. Bottle-nosed dolphins also can be seen surfing the local waves year round.
