Walpole Highlights

  • Try the Valley of the Giants Tree Tops walk, a 600 metre long tree top walk that rises up to 38 metres above the forest where you can view the canopy of the magnificent tingle forest.

  • Explore Walpole-Nornalup National Park with its pristine forests, rugged coastline, peaceful inlets and rivers and is best known for the huge buttressed red tingle trees.

  • Partake in some adventure activities such as canoeing, fishing, climbing, bushwalking and sailing.

About Walpole

This small village is surrounded by some spectacular scenery including rugged coastline, inlets and white sandy beaches.

The town is undergoing a mini tourist boom due to its close proximity to the Walpole/Nornalup National Park and the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk, which is situated 14 kilometres south of the town. This unique 600 metre man-made walk is suspended in the tree canopy 38 metres above the ground and provides some spectacular views of the park and surrounding countryside.

There are many other activities to partake in and around Walpole. Some of these include, canoeing, fishing, climbing, bushwalking and sailing.
