This tiny fishing village nestled between the ocean and sand dunes is located an hour's drive north of Perth.
Lancelin is generally considered to have some the best conditions in Australia for windsurfing. The best time of the year for this is October through to March.
The protected waters of the bay are also ideal for various other water sports such as swimming, fishing and boating. The offshore reef provides good surfing conditions and also some great diving and snorkelling. Surrounding the town are expansive dunes, which are a fun place to use sandboards, dune buggies, motorbikes and four wheel drives.
