About Orbost

Population 2,500

This small East Gippsland town is a service centre with a number of shops, places to eat and services for the surrounding primary industries and agricultural areas.

It has also become a popular tourist destination, as it is a good base to explore surrounding national parks, Snowy River country and forests and coastline including nearby Ninety Mile Beach.
