St Kilda

This bayside suburb is just far enough away from the city centre to retain its unique charm and to have a vitality of its own.

The area is packed with great places to eat and has an odd mixture of people populating it, so as to make people watching a great past time while drinking your coffee at one of the many street cafes.

There is a great arts and craft market on Sundays and there is also the historic Luna Park amusement centre.

The bay beach at St Kilda is very popular in summer and is easily accessible by road and tram.
