The twin towns of Daylesford and Hepburn Springs are the recognised 'spa centre' of Victoria because of the health-giving qualities from the natural mineral springs in the area.
These towns have a vibrant, alternative population, all living side by side. It is a great place to spend time visiting the massage and relaxation centres, second hand bookshops, art galleries, or the great food and wine venues.
You can take a walk through Hepburn Regional Park and view the colourful wildflowers in Spring, or see some of the large range of animals and birds that inhabit the area.
There is also the vintage railway in Daylesford, where on Sundays you can take a trip through the Wombat State Forest.
