McLaren Vale Highlights

About McLaren Vale

Situated between the Mount Lofty Ranges and the beaches of the Gulf of St Vincent, McLaren Vale is known for its excellent wines with more than 50 wineries in the region.

McLaren Vale also produces fruits and is an extensive almond growing region and sometimes has opportunities for fruit picking and harvesting work.

There are a good variety of cafes and restaurants to experience the fine local produce and wines. The small town of McLaren Vale also has a nice selection of cellar doors, art and craft stores and local produce stores.
