About the Clare Valley

The Clare Valley stretches from Auburn in the South to Jamestown in the North, with the small town of Clare being the main centre to the region. If you're after an authentic slice of country Australia, this is a great place to explore. This rural community is great for walking through intimate villages, cycling through the farmlands, or just sampling the great local produce and wines.

There are 22 wineries and 40 cellar doors and the majority are concentrated along a single land corridor just 15 minutes from Clare making them easy to visit.

This charming country town has some great places to eat or drink. There are three pubs in town, all within a couple of minutes walk of each other. For nightlife, the Bentleys Hotel at the southern end of the main street features live bands at weekends.
