About Baird Bay

The tiny and remote fishing village of Baird Bay is situated on the western arm of Anxious Bay. Besides good fishing, Baird Bay is best known as a place where you can do an organised tour to swim with sea lions and dolphins in their natural wild habitat. The area is also good for bushwalking (hiking), bird watching, camping and fishing.

At Coodlie Park Farm Retreat about 50 km from Baird Bay, you can do nocturnal 'spotlighting' tours for Kangaroos and Wombats, swim with the sea lions, dolphins and Blue Fin Tuna, 4WD on sand dunes, visit the Billion Stars Hotel and deep sea fishing tours.
