Gladstone Highlights

This regional coastal city is one of the country's busiest ports. It handles agriculture, mineral and coal exports from central Australia.

Being a reasonable sized city it has good shopping, services and places to eat and drink.

The Gladstone marina is the main departure port for the stunning Heron Island, which is surrounded by spectacular reefs and marine life, making it an excellent place for snorkeling and diving.
