Population 90,000

The twin cities of Albury and Wodonga are one of Australia's largest inland cities and are situated on either side of the mighty Murray River. On the New South Wales side is Albury and on the Victorian side is Wodonga.

Albury/Wodonga's size provides travellers with a good selection of services and facilities. There is also a decent range of activities available, which include aquatic, cultural and historical.

The twin cities have a nice selection of parklands and reserves, which are good for exploring, having a picnic, or just chilling out.

Just 40 minutes drive away, is the wineries of the Rutherglen region, where there are plenty of opportunities to sample excellent Australian wines.

Also, a couple of hours drive away, are the Victorian and New South Wales snow fields, which offer plenty of adventure and adrenaline activities all year round.
